It has everything you want for a relaxing vacation without the noise of the main tourist drags.

I LOVE staying here because you get those AMAZING views that you just can't find anywhere else.

Amapas is tucked away just south of the main action.

It sits right on the edge of the jungle and the ocean.

You get this incredible mix of fresh mountain air and salty sea breezes.

But best of all, you are still super close to Old Town.

Remember, Old Town and the Zona Romantica are the same place, so don't get confused by the different names!

If you want to go grab a taco or hit the bars, it is just a short walk or a quick Uber ride away.

Amapas is built on a hillside, which is why the views are so GREAT.

But it does mean you will be doing some walking on inclines.

I think it is a great way to work off all the margaritas and guacamole!

But if you aren't into hiking, Ubers are everywhere and they are very cheap.

You can get from your front door to the middle of the Romantic Zone in about five minutes.

I really appreciate how peaceful the mornings are here.

You might hear a rooster or some birds in the jungle, but it is much better than traffic noise.

It feels like a real neighborhood where people actually live.

Living Like a Local

One of the best parts of renting a condo here is the kitchen.

Both Sueño and Opportunity have full kitchens with everything you need.

I like to go down to the local markets and get fresh fruit and eggs.

Then I come back and make breakfast while watching the boats in the bay.

It is much more relaxing than staying in a busy hotel.

You also get high-speed WiFi, which is perfect if you need to check a few emails between beach trips.

The TVs even have all the channels from the US and Canada, so you won't miss your favorite shows.
